Happy September! And a happy beginning to (almost) the
third season of the year!
Our 3rd quarterly meeting will be held on September
20th, starting the usual time of 10 am. We are excited
to have Brea Bead Works host our meeting for the first
time. For address/info: www.breabeadworks.com
The bead exchange theme will be "POTLUCK".
Which means just that, basically, anything goes! This
will also be the theme for the food/snacks, potluck!
We will be having our first SCFS Swap Meet...bring tools,
glass, supplies, things you are not using any more for
a possible swap/trade for something you can put to better
use! (LAMPWORK AND JEWELRY RELATED ITEMS ONLY PLEASE!).
In
addition to the swap, we will have a few *members demoing
different Vessel bead styles, which will be our bead
exchange theme in December. We thought it would be fun
to see the various styles of this type of bead, and
give you some time to play before our big holiday meeting.
We will also be announcing our guest artist for the
December 13th meeting!
*do you have vessel you would like to demo? Let me know!
Glass
