Hi Everyone. Linda Gillman has volunteered to be in charge of our bead exchange again for our next meeting on September 17 from 10:00a to 2:00p at Pacific Art Glass. Yes, of course I will do the exchange for the next meeting! Here is what she came up with. I hope everyone participates. It will be lots of fun. Hmmm, I've been thinking of themes and I thought since the meeting is just a few days before the Equinox, that "Autumn" would be a good choice. It's not terribly inspired but it's not complicated either. Make a bead, wrap it in tissue and put in a small baggie with your business card or name. Include inspiration and/or technique if you'd like.

I was out and about and learned of the unification project (www.unificationproject.com), a group of glass blowers/artists who are trying to unify all things glass in the Southern California area. They are hosting a Hot Glass Performance featuring NY Artist Hank Murta Adams, glass blowing demos, visual media and an art exhibition with Southern Cal. University and College Glass Programs participating.

It will be held on August 6, 2005 from 4 PM on @
