Warm March Greetings to So Cal Flame Surfers!
First Meeting of 2010 Saturday, March 13th!

marbleSun, rain, rain, sun….what a crazy start of the year we have had so far! But one thing is for sure. Our first meeting of 2010 is coming up next week, March 13th at Pacific Art Glass. As usual, the meeting will start at 10 am. After a little club business and snacks, we will be treated to a demo by both Kati O’Meara and Brian Mortensen. They will collaborate together and make a marble (Brian) with a sea theme (Kati). And besides watching these two amazing artist demo their talent, we will be watching them inside their traveling studio!

fishOur bead exchange theme is “Shards”. So any bead made with shards, whether you made the shards yourself or not, as long as it is made with shards! I foresee and very colorful exchange! There will be the usual pot luck, so please bring a side, salad or sweet to share

Rich Shelby is hoping members could look around their work spaces and bring any shorts and broken COE 104 glass that they do not plan on using for him to the meeting on March 13th.
