St Patties Meeting

We all had a great time at our last meeting on March 17th. Since it was St. Patrick’s Day, “GREEN” was the theme for our bead exchange and there were plenty of great green beads – leprechauns, green beer steins, 4 leaf clovers and other exceptional green beads!!

Our raffle was stock full of goodies, a wonderful brass shaping tool from Retro Glass, and glass bundles from Winship and GG Glass, just to name a few. There were several generous donations made by members as well. Many thanks to all for your support, including members that buy raffle tickets.

Rich ShelbyWe had some wonderful demos on making glass marbles by Rich “Santa Claus” Shelby and Mike Close. These techniques can also be applied to beadmaking.

We would like all members to participate in being a “Featured Artist” on our chapter’s website. If you are interested, please contact Barbara Birbeck.
